Omnia ToolVox
Cutting Edge Technology

Features

  • Low latency. In a digital world, latency is important. ToolVox has a total maximum latency of only 2.8 ms. – among the best anywhere.
Specialized compressor ratios and time constants, coupled with a slow gain-riding AGC with smart freeze gate handle everything from a whisper to a scream.
  • A state-of-the-art psychoacoustic de-esser—the first of its kind—uses FFT analysis to remove unwanted sibilance while preserving high-end frequencies. (Be sure to read our White Paper titled "New Approaches for De-Essing Speech".)
  • Three individually selectable parametric EQ sections, each with HP, LP, BP, high and low shelving.
  • Built-in phase rotators let you switch out phase rotation in your main processing for cleaner, clearer music, while adjusting phase only on talent mics.
  • TrueVerb® from Waves lets you add state-of-the art reverb to just the talent's voice for extra presence.
  • Built-in studio reference-grade mic preamp with 24-bit converter, Phantom power and analog gain up to 70dB for dynamic mics.
  • Up to 99 user presets, selectable on-the-fly from the ToolVox front panel, let talent select presets tailored to their individual needs. Processor adjustments are not accessible from the front panel to ensure against unwanted tampering.
  • Analog and AES/EBU outputs for maximum flexibility.
  • Ethernet and RS-232 remote control with a unique graphical user interface makes adjustments from remote locations a snap.
